Outreach after Petrol Tanker Tragedy
Following the Petrol Tanker Tragedy, Oasis of Hope have used the generous donations given to us to outreach into the affected community.
We have done this through evangelism and food distribution. Before each food distribution, we are sharing an evangelistic message with those gathered, and then giving food packages, made possible by your donations, to those who need it.
Although COVID restrictions limit the amount of people at each event, by the grace of God we have still been able to reach about 100 families with food and the gospel.
The first event was at the Pueblo Viejo church and the second event is held at Tasajera, where the petrol tanker tragedy took place. The majority of the people at the Pueblo Viejo church event walked from Tasajera to Pueblo Viejo to receive their food parcel.

What next?
We continue to plan more evangelistic & food distribution events leading up to Christmas. Our team will be expanded to include further ministry, such as puppets, for the children and God willing some Christmas gifts as well. As you can see donations are being well used and we continue to thank God for the provision!
